Senior Analyst - Gaming (f/m/x)

Your tasks

As a Senior Analyst (f/m/x), you will shape and aid the data-driven decision-making for everyone at Bytro.
You will wrangle data, analyse questions, test hypotheses, run statistical tests and communicate the results of your efforts broadly. While our teams are interdisciplinary, you can have a degree of specialization in Marketing, Product or Engineering, depending on your expertise.

Your responsibilities include:

Improving the performance of the product you are focusing on.
Generate, collect, refine and evaluate hypotheses or questions from colleagues, with data!
Educate everyone at Bytro in data, statistics, and how our products perform or are used by our players.
Proactively driving initiatives related to Product or our Analytics craft.

Your profile

Gaming is a passion of yours, and you have an understanding of free-to-play monetization models and our genre.
Communication of results and collaboration of others is something you enjoy. Data wrangling and analysis can be temporarily solitary activities, but you also collaborate with other Analysts and stakeholders so our insights get translated into product improvements.
You have a good grasp of tools of the trade, e.g. SQL, descriptive and inferential statistics and programmatic data wrangling (e.g. with Python). Bonus points for experience with regression analyses, forecasting or machine learning.
A/B tests, their evaluation and recommendations derived from them are in good hands with you.
Data Engineering experience is a plus (dbt counts) .
Dashboard design, in an ad hoc manner to quickly visualize descriptive data, or to allow long-term monitoring of KPIs, is second nature to you, and you know.
You are at a point in your career where you feel comfortable owning your work and results.
You are able to work and communicate effectively with a broad range of colleagues, from Marketing, Live Ops and Game Design to developers who implement our tracking requests.
Leading deep dives to answer challenging or complex questions does not scare you. Don't worry, you won't be alone.
